We're back from Atlanta and ready to go!

Happy Friday, friend!

Hopefully, you’ve been following along over on our Instagram page this week, but if you haven’t, let’s recap our trip to the Atlanta market. I’m currently sitting in the Atlanta airport, so I’m still buzzing with excitement and motivation from the show.

First and foremost, I want to take a moment to express my immense gratitude for Renee. We like to joke that we share a brain, but at the end of the day, her dedication and hard work are invaluable to me. I'm endlessly thankful for the passion and time she devotes to our shared vision.

On the same note, this trip wouldn’t have been possible without the team back in Virginia. They held down the fort while we were away and we are so lucky we are able to step away without a worry, knowing that everything at the Roost is running smoothly.

Now, let's dive into the exciting world of trends we spotted at the market!

At every market, you always see a couple stand out trends that are hard to miss. In the upcoming seasons, brace yourself for an explosion of color, skirts, and “waterproof jewelry” that's as stylish as it is functional. Plus, we’re beginning to see the return of a more tailored look and less of the always-casual wardrobes (aka COVID-wear). We also are still seeing lots of stripes, sneakers and, don’t worry, athleisure is still hanging on.

Even though this was a apparel market, we still manage to sneak over to the gift building and visit a couple of our favorite gift lines (and even pick up a couple new ones). We may be your go-to shop for all your wardrobe needs, but we still LOVE helping you find the best gifts in town!

In the final stretch of our trip, as we wandered through the aisles and soaked in the creative energy, I couldn't help but reflect on the importance of stepping outside our comfort zones. The Atlanta market served as a powerful reminder of how essential it is to break free from routine, embrace inspiration, and let our minds reset.

The experiences, the people, and the sheer creativity I witnessed have ignited a fresh spark within me, ready to infuse the shop with even more passion and purpose.
